Minnesota: I don’t know if you’d call it a debate exactly, but Al Franken and Norm Coleman will have a forum on Tuesday at Farmfest.
Oregon: It’s weird that Sen. Gordon Smith keeps running ads where he highlights his work with Democrats. First he touted his work with Obama, now it is John Kerry. What about all his wonderful work with George W. Bush and John McCain?

Democrat Scott Kleeb has tapped the Internet to fuel his U.S. Senate campaign, while Republican Mike Johanns has mined the business community to fill his coffers.
Mike Johanns and Scott Kleeb
Kleeb had raised about $383,000 through a national fundraising site on the Internet called ActBlue, which serves as a clearinghouse for people across the nation eager to support Democratic candidates. He also raised about $22,800 with the help of Daily Kos, a widely known blog.Johanns’ biggest contributors were businesses, including ConAgra Foods and the Alltel Corp.

Mississippi: I don’t share much in common with Ronnie Musgrove but I am encouraged to see that he is endorsing the Employee Freedom Choice Act. Meanwhile, Erik Fleming is trying to get Thad Cochran to pledge that he will serve out a full six-year term (unlike Trent Lott) if he is reelected.
Alabama: The Alabama AFL-CIO has endorsed Vivian Figures and Barack Obama.
Georgia: Georgia has its runoff primary tomorrow. Pray for Jim Martin.
