Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Main Street, Cold Spring, NY painting. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
There are many changes for this week’s cycle. Over on the sidewalk/street side, the tree has now been reduced and separated into two. I intend to revise the distant one. The sidewalk and street have been repainted as well as the shadows to the left. Note the revised strip of grass adjacent to the street. Finally, the foreground storefront has been repainted as well.
