TTIP was DOA but the EU and Trudeau's Canada did Sign CETA

Under FDR Democrats, the world gathered around the ashes of devastation of WWII to found global institutions as the UN, World Bank, IMF, GATT and NATO [to keep the Germans in check].

Pax Americana of the 21th century would retain US hegemony for corporate “pure capitalism” through the so-called ultimate globalisation of TPP (Asia pivot) and AngloSaxon “leadership” with the EU version TTIP. The latter written and supported under the Obama administration was DOA and had no chance of public support on both sides of the Atlantic.

The TPP would guarantee free-trade along the Pacific rim states with undoubtedly a guarantor by the U.S. military and financial institutions. It was a new model of world domination and enslavement of the working class.

Brexit threw the capitalist world order in turmoil.

Brexit will split the UK from mainland Europe and keep its ally U.S. close by. Well done as it will keep further U.S. imperialism in check. Hopefully NATO will stop its aggressive expansion and return to its founding role as a defence pact for Europe and the North Atlantic alliance with Canada and the UK.

The EU and Canada did pass CETA, a similar version of the TIPP. It needed the approval vote of all 28 EU member states and was held up by the Belgian Wallonia to remove some toxic regulations. Thank You Wallonians!
