Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Cold Spring, NY street scene. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6×6 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
Progress was limited this week. I’ve added another layer of blue to the shadowed portions of the houses. Note the same blue on the shady side of the chimney. I’ve continued the same blue onto the partially completed porch. I’ve finally added some paint to the upper portion of the car. To the far rear, another layer of green covers the trees.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
