I think that there is a rare window of opportunity approaching for the Democratic leadership to make a concerted effort and stick GWB hard and twist the knife(this is just a metaphor, Agent Mike)…
His polls are the lowest ever, and guess what…? It’s primarily over the handling of the war in Iraq… his presumed strength.
We hear from the White House that he is about to embark on a rhetorical “save the war” tour. This just after his unsuccessful extended played-to-a-captivated-audience “Social Screw-u-and-me” tour.
Does this all sound familiar? I’ll give you a hint… has anybody been keeping track again of the time that the Chimpotus has been out of DC and the White House…? I’ll admit I haven’t, and I’m a little perturbed because I’m feeling hood-winked…

This is the man who vacationed from a year of National Guard duty… he spent 27% of his Presidency on vacation as of August 2003… has anybody kept track since then?!
We’ve been had.
Think about it… wouldn’t you just love to go to places where throngs of maddened people just adored you and doted upon everything you had to say… maybe take in some culture… play a little golf… and call it “hard work”?
All while the country goes to hell, terrorism proliferates, and men and women continue to die in a senseless, illegal, and immoral war.
To quote one of my heroes, “This aggression will not stand, man.”
This needs to be aggressively framed and driven home starting tomorrow by our Democratic leaders, before the Rovian/Maytag industrial strength spin cycle has a chance to kick in. GWB should have his faced rubbed in his stinking and putrid “War Presidency” 24/7. Attack your opponent’s strengths.
