Please recommend to everyone who might be at loose ends, or at wits end, for that matter.
May the 4’s be with you

“How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…”

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, — I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! — and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

Everyone is welcome, there’s a bit of a sing-song going on in the back. Just make yourself at home and introduce yourself if you are new to the place. You’ll find this is a very friendly place (too friendly, in the case of our Yvonne) & full of fascinating people…

As always there’s good game of billiards going on downstairs. Please remember NO JUMP SHOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES  I don’t know how long we can keep the pool table, one more broken cue and one more chipped 8 ball and it might be the end…..

It has been brought to management’s attention that there has been a bit of gambling going on.
That’s OK with me, but 50% of your winnings must be pledged to charity.
TONIGHT’S CHARITY IS THE SAVE THE CHILDREN FUND

When Called I Will Serve, but if I should fail to hear you, or am busy drinking with someone else, Serve Yourself:

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask Yvonne.
If you find Yvonne, would you tell her I’m looking for her?
