If 10,000 or 100,000 or 250,000 or 500,000 or more people gathered in DC. this past weekend to protest the war in Iraq, and the rest of the nation doesn’t know about it, did the protest really happen?

Here in S.E. Michigan, The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News are the two large daily papers.  Looking through the Sunday issue, I found a story concerning the anti war protest on page 14 A.  This AM, try as I might, I could find no mention of the protest in The Free Press.  There was a paragraph or two about a couple hundred pro war supporters who staged a counter rally on Sunday.  So the question remains, did Saturday really happen?
