This is a tremendous article from The Nation that was on AlterNet last week. It talks about the latest version of fascist cooperation between government and big corporations, or the electronic equivalent of what our greatest 20th century general and mediocre President Dwight Eisenhower called the “military-industrial complex” in his farewell address. Big phone companies want to be sure they cooperate with NSA on violating the Constitution and doing the hokey pokey on our civil rights……Oh yeah, “Hey Dubya, Bite Me.”
