Akha women claim they have babies by staff of the NGO’s who sexually abused them while working in the Akha villages.
DNA testing of all staff members would give increased transparency to the situation.
External monitoring as well as safeguards in the organizations would have prevented the abuse.
Leaders of the NGO’s should be held accountable.
Compensation should by paid by the NGO’s to the women who were sexually abused and NGO staff who were involved in the abuse should be prosecuted and jailed.
Oh yeah, and for those at headquarters who might not get the point, those involved should be fired too.
