Boycott effort by IPSC volunteers.
If Americans knew the reality in the Palestinian territories, they would undoubtedly become irate at just what it is our government in Washington is not only supporting through funding, but hiding from public view. Of course, the American press, absent of any modern day Edward R. Murrows, finds itself in complicity with the government, not for just keeping quiet about Israeli war crimes, but repeating propaganda issued by Israel and the US State Department.

Irish history is replete with the actions of courageous personalities who died to provide, after centuries of British hegemony, its own sovereignty and independence as a state. No Irish man or women is unable to understand and sympathize, on viewing their long road to independence, the plight of the Palestinian people.

This is the front page of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign site, a great place to go when you want to learn about the reality that is being withheld from the American people: the deadly occupation the Palestinian people endure, while Israel confiscates more and more of their ancestral lands (for the links, please go to the site: http://www.ipsc.ie/index.php)

Will Facebook censor a Palestinian human rights activist?

by Anonymous in Booman Tribune, 16 November 2007

The kind of censorship I am about to describe can only occur in America, sadly to say, in the freedom of speech capital of the world. When Daily Kos, the largest left wing Democratic site on the internet, made a decision earlier this year to ban advocates of Palestinian freedom and self-determination, it did so at the behest of a cabal of right wing Zionists that monitor the site. Administration even worked with this cabal to eventually….

by Anthony Loewstedt (Löwstedt) in Arabic Media Internet Network (AMIN), 10 November 2007

Since the publication of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s `Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid’ a year ago, criticism of Israel, especially of Israel’s human rights record in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and of Israel’s supporters in the USA, appears more prominently in the U.S. media. Although as a result of his book Carter was accused of being an `anti-Semite’, a `fool’, a ‘bigot’ and a `Jew-hater’ in the mainstream media, these unfound….
