I think at this point it is appropriate to start an Eagleton watch. In other words, how long will it be before elected Republican officials that are facing reelection in November panic? How long before they panic and tell John McCain that he is not going to keep Sarah Palin on the ticket and drag them down with the ship?
Palin is lawyering up in the Troopergate scandal.
