Okay, I lied. If you have already voted, you can still help. Call around and see if you can take a family member or friend to the polls who would otherwise be unable to get to the polls. There is still time to call your local chapter of whatever party you prefer and see what you can do to transport voters, or make calls to GOTV.
Many of us have lost so much over the last thirty years. Jobs, pensions, privacy, access to to make our views known in the ever stagnant and lazy news media, income, good education, etc. The one thing we still have is our vote (or at least some of us do – sorry if the Republican Party’s voter constant voter suppression efforts have taken away your right to cast a ballot this year).
So, for those of you who can vote, just do it.
