Many of my long term politically active brothers and sisters are whoopin it up thinking that the election is all but guaranteed to be a democratic win. We have never witnessed the full fury of a mature Citizens United election. We will be soon. Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, they are all varying degrees of awfulness. The citizens United goons will be out in force now clearly ready to do whatever it takes to nullify the passing of Antonin Scalia at the SCOTUS.
They will be on cyber-steroids.
The closer Hillary or Bernie comes to being a lock on the electoral college the stronger the right wing zealots will be looking for a George Tiller like response to their problems. Of course this will be described as “terrible, not sanctioned in any way by the GOP”, but, it is in their playbook.
I look for bullets to rule this election, not ballots.
I am praying I am wrong.
