Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Red Canyon painting. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.
When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
There are three changes for this week’s cycle. Starting at the top, the fully formed clouds now appear over the hoodoos, providing just a little more depth. Secondly, I’ve adjusted the trees just a bit, especially the tallest one. Finally, I’ve added some variation to the foreground. The painting is now complete.
The current and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
