Jack Billionhas won the Democratic Primary for the Governor’s Race in South Dakota. Swing State Project is reporting that the AP has already called it, I can’t find the article, but looking at the numbers, this race is over.

712 of 778 precincts reporting (92%)
Jack Billion – 19781 (61%)
Dennis Wiese – 12552 (39%)
Dems currently hold 5 of the 6 Federal Seats. Let’s start taking the State seats and turning these states blue for good.
Jack Billion Is a strong Proggresive candidate that has come out against HB 1215 (the unconstitutional abortion ban) and against State Constitutional Ammendment C (bans same-sex marriage).
Jack Billion will be running against conservative Governor Michal Rounds who is expected to make a run for the Senate in ’08. That is why this race is so important, it’s all about bruising up Rounds now, and possibly even taking his seat, to defend the Senate seat in ’08 and to repeal HB 1215.
