The modern drug war was created by Richard Nixon in collusion with the Dixie-crats as a means of neutralizing and subverting the electoral empowerment effects of the Voting Rights Act and the 26st Amendment. At this one thing it has been a smashing success. The drug war has successfully re-invigorated Jim Crow as it has subverted American pluralistic democracy since 1972.

Jim Crow stood on two legs.

  1. denial of access to polling. That tactic was significantly disbanded with the Voting Rights Act.
  2. Trumped up morals laws that enable mass disenfranchisement or the poor. Mostly urban Americans and minorities. The war on drugs is the crutch that allows this fetid second leg continue to hold Jim Crow upright into the 21st century.

See this newly released Human Rights Watch report:

Decades of Disparity

“This 20-page report says that adult African Americans were arrested on drug charges at rates that were 2.8 to 5.5 times as high as those of white adults in every year from 1980 through 2007”

I have been voting in America since 1972. I have NEVER participated in a valid and fair U.S. election in my lifetime. Not once.

THE DRUG WAR IS REALLY THE WAR ON DEMOCRACY, AMERICAN DEMOCRACY!
