If you haven’t had enough from Rush Limbaugh and all the other haters this week, look what popped up on Twitter this afternoon:
Yes, I understand: no one will ask Romney whether it was appropriate for him to prostrate himself before this guy and beg for his endorsement because everyone in the elite media has agreed to ignore the fact that Nugent has said things like this:
About Hillary Clinton: “You probably can’t use the term ‘toxic cunt’ in your magazine, but that’s what she is. Her very existence insults the spirit of individualism in this country. This bitch is nothing but a two-bit whore for Fidel Castro.”
Or this:
Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, “Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary,” he continued. “You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.” Nugent summed up his eloquent speech by screaming “freedom!”
And on and on and … oh, do I have to run through this again? A lot of us have been complaining about Nugent’s untouchable status for years, and nobody cares about what we’re saying ‘cuz he’s so darn colorful, right? So, yeah, I guess it’s just fine that he’s endorsing Romney.
